No-Bake Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Chewy, naturally sweet little bites made with oats, banana and peanut butter. No oven needed — just mix, roll and chill.

Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: none | Servings: 12 bites

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 150g rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips or raisins
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Stir in the peanut butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.
  3. Fold in the oats and chocolate chips until well combined.
  4. Roll into 12 balls, about a tablespoon each.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Tips

If the mixture is too sticky, add a spoonful more oats; if too dry, add a splash of milk. Swap peanut butter for almond butter for a different flavour.
